Fire Report 5/4/17

• On April 25, at 6:54 p.m. Laurel Volunteer Fire Department firefighters responded to a vehicle crash at mile marker 434 on Interstate 90. Firefighters had to extricate a victim.
• On April 26, at 6:11 a.m., firefighters responded to a false alarm on the 200 block of SE 4th St. Smoke from cooking activated the alarm.
• On April 26, at 7 a.m., firefighters responded to a fire at Helena Chemical on S. 5th and Main St. The building was unoccupied and firefighters were able to break-in and put out the fire. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
• On April 28, at 9:56 a.m., firefighters were dispatched to a semi tractor that was leaking diesel from its fuel tank. approximately 30 gallons of fuel leaked. Firefighters placed absorbent and floor dry on the spill and called Hanser’s Towing.
• On April 29, at 1:29 a.m. firefighters were dispatched to S. 1st Ave. for a one-vehicle rollover.
