Fire Report - 10/26/17

Oct. 17
• At 9:32 p.m., Laurel Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to a report of smoke in a confined space on Foundation Ave. Fire personnel investigated and found no signs of an active fire. The source of the smoke was a burned up sump pump.

Oct. 18
• At 2:21 p.m., a fire ignited while railroad workers were working on the track near mile marker 438 on Interstate 90. A passerby called it in even though the workers had water and personnel available.
• At 2:34 p.m., LVFD provided lift assist for the ambulance.
• At 10:32 p.m., LVFD was paged to help EMS with a lift assist.

Oct. 21
• At 5:53 p.m., LVFD responded to a two-vehicle crash at mm 432 on I-90.
• At 11:09 p.m., a grass fire was extinguished by LVFD on Hazel Ave.
• At 11:50 p.m., fire personnel responded to Woodland Ave. to assist medical
