This is the perfect weekend to get out and support Laurel Alive’s Rock the Block and the Firefighters’ Memorial Run. Both events are tomorrow evening and mark the first day of summer. Although today’s paper has information on some of the problems the city is facing, as residents, we know the commuity can step up and help make improvements. Supporting the great events and the State Firefighters Memorial helps to keep those gems of our city flourishing. Please see today’s front page and page 8 for information on the events. The Outlook thanks all involved in both the construction of the Memorial and Laurel Alive for bringing live music to the city on a regular basis.
