Drum practice with the Pryor Mountain Boys Saturday

Montana State Parks will be offering a free drum group demonstration by the Pryor Mountain Boys at Chief Plenty Coups State Park on Saturday, July 29 from 1-3 p.m.
Come by the park to enjoy the sounds of traditional Native American drumming. The Pryor Mountain Boys drum group will be practicing outside the visitor center. Visitors will have the opportunity to ask any questions about the musical history of the Crow or drumming techniques.

 Chief Plenty Coups State Park is a National Historic Landmark located near Laurel. This state park features Chief Plenty Coups’ two-story log cabin, farmstead, sacred spring, Pryor Creek, large picnic grounds and a visitor center.
