Jace Buchanan didn’t allow a single run against the Glendive Blue Devils, throwing a complete game shutout and leading Laurel Dodgers to a 4-0 victory on Monday evening.

The Laurel Dodgers opened up scoring in the first inning, scoring one run when Richie Cortese doubled.

A single by Buckley in the first inning was a positive for Glendive Blue Devils.

Buchanan took the win for Laurel Dodgers. The righty lasted seven innings, allowing three hits and zero runs while striking out five and walking one.

Crockett took the loss for Glendive Blue Devils. The pitcher allowed five hits and four runs over six innings, striking out five.

Cortese went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Laurel Dodgers in hits.

Glendive Blue Devils didn’t commit a single error in the field. Wahl had the most chances in the field with seven.

Laurel Dodgers beat Glendive Blue Devils in second game, 3-1

Both teams were strong on the pitcher’s mound Monday, but the Laurel Dodgers defeated Glendive Blue Devils 3-1 in the second home game on Monday evening.

Reece Dolechek allowed just six hits to Glendive Blue Devils. The Laurel Dodgers grabbed an early lead. Laurel Dodgers scored on a sacrifice fly by Richie Cortese in the first inning and a double by Tanner Knaub in the second inning. The Laurel Dodgers pulled away for good with one run in the second inning. In the second Knaub doubled on a 2-2 count, scoring one run.

Dolechek got the win for Laurel Dodgers. The right-hander lasted seven innings, allowing six hits and one run while striking out two.

Franks took the loss for Glendive Blue Devils. The pitcher allowed five hits and three runs over six innings, striking out two and walking one.

Dolechek led the Laurel Dodgers with two hits in two at bats.
