Celebrate Earth Day by volunteering your time

The Montana Audubon Center is excited to present the ninth annual Earth Day Celebration. It will be at the Center on S. Billings Blvd. from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, April 22.
Join other enthusiasts for an early morning bird walk at 7 a.m. Restoration work and fun begin at 9 a.m. In addition to our popular nature hike and trail trash pickup activities, the two areas of focus his year will be on the new Fledglings Urban Learning Lab demonstration garden and on the development of a prairie plant community demonstration site on the west side of the property.
Enjoy any or all of the events. Folks are welcome to come for an hour or the whole day. Plan to bring water, work gloves and friends. No fee for participation. Volunteers are invited to a free BBQ lunch at noon. Earth Day will take place rain or shine.
The Montana Audubon Center, in partnership with the Yellowstone River Parks Assoication, offers conservation and nature education programs on our 54 acres of restored cottonwood groves, wildflower gardens, ponds, and wetlands just south of Billings.
