The closer this grand day came, the more excited she became to see the Lord of all creation. Her favorite Bible verse, “This is the day the Lord has made: we will rejoice and be glad in it.” - Psalm 118:24, gave her both peace and joy throughout her journey on this earth. Her life was filled with making family memories and spreading the word of Jesus Christ’s saving grace.

Karmen and Carolyn were owners of KC Interiors in Laurel from 1984 until they retired in 2019.

She is survived by her husband of nearly 59 years, Karmen Brooks, daughters Janie (Mike) Jones of Boyd, Mont., (grandchildren Kayla, Sari and Lindy), Lia (Jim) Beck of Helena, Mont., (grandchildren Sadie and Lexi), and Marlaina (Heath) Myers of Boyd, Mont., (grandchildren Cade, Bailey, and Cotton), and seven great-grandchildren.

Her family was her greatest treasure. She will truly be missed here on earth as she fills heaven with her beautiful presence. There will be no service at her request.
