Bruce Edward McNabb of Billings was born in Butte, Montana, to Catherine and Dallas McNabb on August 23, 1947. He passed away on November 29, 2018. Bruce graduated from Butte Central High School in 1965. 

Bruce was a highly decorated Vietnam vet, being awarded numerous awards and medals, including a Purple Heart, a Bronze Star Medal with an Oak Leaf Cluster, and a Vietnam Service Medal with two Bronze Service Stars. He proudly served our country from 1966 to 1968. 

Bruce was store/plans coordinator for Buttrey Food Stores, Super Value and Associated Food Stores. He retired from Jacobs Engineering at Exxon Mobile in 2015. 

Bruce was passionate about the Green Bay Packers, Notre Dame, Portland Trail Blazers, the Cubbies, his truck "Sweetness," and he doted on his granddaughters, Mariah and Ashlee. He was proud of his service to our country and of his Irish heritage. 

Bruce was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife Linda, of Billings; his son Rick McNabb (Myndie) of Portland, Oregon; daughter Kim McNabb (Josh) of Billings; granddaughters Mariah and Ashlee Giest of Billings; his sister Kathi Nordstrom (Joe) of Catalina, Arizona; his mother and father-in-law Brisbin and Bernie Skiles of Billings; his sisters and brothers-in-law, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends. 

Friends and family are welcome to join us in celebrating Bruce's life on Friday, June 28th. A memorial service will be held at Smith West Funeral Chapel, located at 304 34th Street West, Billings, at 11 a.m., followed by burial with military honors at Yellowstone National Cemetery in Laurel at 1 p.m. A reception at the Winners Circle, 2501 Grand Avenue, Billings, will  take place at 3 p.m. Condolences may be shared online at www.smithfuneralchapels.com.
