Last Wednesday the Montana Coaches Association announced LHS girls track coach Brandi Fox as Coach of the Year for Class A Girls Track and Field after leading the team to their first–ever State Championship on May 28–29.

Fox coached track and field in Deer Lodge at Powell County High School for 13 years, specializing in sprints, hurdles and relays. She also coached cheer and dance.

She has been in the Laurel School District for 4 years as a high school counselor and coaching relays while helping her husband Curtis with sprints.
