Beverly Thora Eisenman

Beverly Thora Eisenman, 90, of Billings, formerly of Fairfield and Park City, Mont., was called by Our Lord to be with her husband, Victor, on what would have been their 69th Wedding Anniversary, November 22, 2016. 
Bev was born on December 3, 1925, in Sidney, Mont., to Emily (Hart) and Einar Amundson. Bev grew up in Skaar and Harwood, ND. She graduated from Oak Grove High School, St Luke’s Hospital School of Nursing and interned as a Cadet Nurse at Fort Harrison in Helena, Mont., where she met Victor. They became lifelong dancing and fishing partners when they were married in 1947, in Park City where they earned their living as commercial truck gardeners and farmers. Bev also worked as an RN at the Deaconess Hospital in Billings and the Columbus, Mont. hospital.
Throughout her life, Bev was active with St. Paul’s and St. John’s Lutheran Churches, Lutheran Women’s Missionary League, bowling, fishing, puzzles and card games. She loved seeing her kids, grandkids, great grandkids and friends on Facebook.  
Survivors are her children: Linda (Jerry) Fisher, Dwight (Denise) Eisenman, Lois (Joseph) Howlett and Wendy (Mike) Mills. Her grandchildren are: Zachary (Kara), Emily, Eric (BreAnna) Fisher, Tyler and Nathan Howlett; Aaron, Julia, Amy (Osric Santiago) and Kaylee Mills. Her great grandchildren are: Bentley and Wyatt Fisher and Chloe Santiago, and many nieces and nephews. Her sisters are: Lois Berg, Joanne Jones and Cheryl (Rudy) Meinhardt.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Victor; siblings Glenn (Lorraine), Norman (Elinor), Raymond (Millie) and Leonard (Erna) Amundson; and Corinne (Clarence) Krabbenhoft, Len Berg and DewWayne Jones; and her granddaughter Gina Marie Fisher.
Visitation was on Friday, Nov. 25 at Smith Funeral Chapel in Laurel. Bev’s funeral services was held Saturday, Nov. 26, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Laurel. A luncheon followed at the church. Interment will take place on Friday, Dec. 2 at 10 a.m. at Yellowstone National Cemetery at 55 Buffalo Trail Road in Laurel, Mont.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bev’s name to St. John’s Lutheran Church LWML of Laurel, the Yellowstone National Cemetery of Laurel, or the charity of your choice. Condolences for the family and memories about Bev may be shared at
