Yesterday morning Laurel Police Detective Joel Sauter announced arrest warrants had been issued for the two suspects in the Sept. 12 Taco Bell robbery in Laurel.

Marshal Lee Sipp, 27, is being sought on a $10,000 warrant for robbery with a weapons enhanced felony and Phillip Jon Surratt, 35, on a $10,000 felony warrant for robbery by accountability. Both suspects’ last know addresses are in Billings.

At approximately 8 a.m. on Sept. 12 Sipp pulled through the Taco Bell drive–thru wearing a mask and handed the cashier a note demanding money while pointing a handgun at them, then fled the scene. During the investigation, the LPD learned two subjects had been seen in the Walmart parking lot before the robbery occurred and one was wearing a mask. Security footage and anonymous tips led to the identification of Sipp and Surratt and the subsequent arrest warrants.
