Thief tries to hide trucks in Laurel

Outlook photo by Kathleen Gilluly

Laurel police were busy on Tuesday. Two trucks stolen from Billings on Monday were discovered in the city. One was found in a private driveway behind a house on the 400 block of Washington Ave. The other was parked on the 900 block of Washington Ave. Officers had to be stationed at each vehicle until they could be removed. From the left are Steve Bamgartner, LPD intern from MSU Billings; Chief Rich Musson, a tow truck operator, the owner of the vehicles and in reflection, LPD Officer Joel Sauter.
