Soaked race kicks off games

The Big Sky State Games is hosting the 4th Annual Soaked run at Pioneer Park on Friday, July 14, in Billings. The non-timed two-mile fun run includes water features, foam machine, slip and slide and more. The first wave starts at 6:15 p.m. in Pioneer Park and ends in Daylis Stadium.  The run is open to everyone; runners, walkers, fast or slow. Participants should be prepared to get soaked.
Register online at bigskygames.org by June 30, to be guaranteed a micromesh T-shirt. Online registration will be accepted until July 12. After that, register onsite at packet pick-up in Pioneer Park on Thursday, July 13 at 490 N. 30th, Tranwestern Building #2 and Friday July 14 at the south east corner of Pioneer Park from 4-6 p.m.
The run finishes in Daylis Stadium, kicking off the Big Sky State Games Opening Ceremonies. The evening includes music, food, kids events, Parade of Athletes, entertainment, torch lighting ceremony and the Montana Mile.
