No winter blues for Lady Locos

Winter break came and went and though there was no school and no basketball games scheduled, the Laurel girls still practiced hard and are now ready to get back into action and settle in.
“We practiced hard and want to get back into our regular flow,” said coach Amber Griffith.
Both Laurel teams faced a rocky start to the season as early games in December had been cancelled and rescheduled. The girls are excited to have games coming up so they can get more into a rhythm as a team.
The girls had no new year resolutions or fatigue from the time off. Their first game is today at home, against Billings Senior and then they get to play again at home on Saturday Jan. 7, against Miles City. Two games in three days has the coach and the team excited to get back to their season.
