Many hands make light work

Outlook photo by Kathleen Gilluly. At Saturday’s box-packing party for Laurel Hometown Troops, a number of folks of all ages from a variety of organizations worked on the assembly or packing line to get the treats ready to ship. For each name and address LHTT has of military members serving overseas, two boxes are sent. There are enough goodies for that soldier, sailor, Marine or airman to share. There is also everything needed for a traditional Christmas party, including the tree and lights! The once-a-year packing party is the culmination of fundraising and collecting donations throughout the year.
