Laurel Locomotives basketball camps open registration

This year’s boys Laurel Locomotive basketball camps are scheduled to take place in June.
The first boys camp session for grades 9-12 will take place June 5-8, Monday through Thursday from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Check in is June, 5, at 5 p.m. at the Laurel High School gym.
The second boys camp session for grades 5-8 will take place June 5-8, Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. through 11 a.m. Check in is on June 5, at 7:30 a.m., at the Laurel Middle School gym.
Under the instruction of the Laurel Locomotive boy’s basketball coaches, the camps will feature individual instruction, free-throw competition, spot-shooting, man-to-man defensive principles, motion offensive principles, one-on-one competition, fast break league and five on five games and tournament.
The cost of the camp is $60 each camper with a $5 discount per additional family member. Each camper will receive a basketball, T-shirt and instructions.
Forms are available at the school office. To guarantee a basketball, participants must register for the camps by May 26. For more information, or to register, call Patrick Hansen at 628-3964.
