Last games before Districts for J-Hawks

The games weren’t of much importance this close to tournament basketball, but Joliet still lost and lost bad.
“We went into Roundup and ran into a buzz saw,” said coach John Nelson. “Roundup shot unbelievably well and we couldn’t keep up. They hit nine threes and eight of them came in the second quarter. We didn’t play bad but we just dug a hole and couldn’t climb out.”
Joliet was outscored 29-15 in that second quarter and they couldn’t crawl back after that.

The last game of the season for the J-Hawks went as planned. They won 68-42 and now are ready to head into tourney play.
“Boys played well and sent our seniors out with a win,” said coach John Nelson. “We had 11 of our 12 guys score so it was a total team effort. It was a good way to end our season and get ready for Districts.”
Wyatt Kramer led the way with 13. Ty Olson had 11 and Taylor Rowlison had nine for Joliet.
The District tournament for Joliet starts tonight in Red Lodge, and will carry on through the weekend.
