Joliet, Park City and Laurel volleyball roundup

Joliet

The J-Hawk volleyball team split matches with Huntley Project and Big Timber this past week. On Thursday they fell to a tough Red Devil team in three games; 10-25, 16-25 and 20-25.

Coach Colette Webber said, “this was a tough game for us. They [Huntley Project] are probably the number one team in Class B in the state. We came out timid after being blocked several times and took us until game three to gain our confidence back and adjust to their offense. Huntley is our measuring stick. We know we have a lot of work to do before we can compete with this team. It really comes down to confidence in their abilities.”
