Joliet Extension Agent recognized

Carbon County Extension Agent Nikki Bailey was recognized by Montana State University during homecoming last weekend. She was among 37 alumni honored for their achievements. Bailey was recognized by the College of Agriculture with the Distinguished Staff Award.
“It is an honor to receive this award from my alma mater. I am fortunate enough to work in a great county with wonderful people who truly support Extension programming,” Bailey said. “As an Extension Agent, every day I get to learn new things and hopefully use that information to help people in Carbon County be successful. As amazing as this award is it would not be possible without the support for MSU Extension that I have found in Carbon County; I am truly honored and blessed to work within such a great community.”
Most colleges at the university presented awards honoring individuals in four categories: distinguished staff, distinguished faculty, honorary alumni and alumni achievement. In addition, recipients were recognized at the President’s Homecoming Lunch, on Friday, Sept. 29.
