FCCLA, ProStart to host, cater pre-musical dinner at LHS

Over 45 Laurel High School students are preparing for their roles in the upcoming musical, “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.” This entertaining production offers a variety of musical styles from country western to calypso to rock and roll while telling the story of Joseph and his 11 jealous brothers. Performances will be Thursday and Friday Nov. 16 and 17, at 7 p.m. in the high school auditorium. In the back is Austin Amestoy as Joseph and Halie Tisdale as Potifar’s wife. In the front is Andrew Sutton as Potifar.

Family Career and Community Leaders of America will be hosting a dinner before the Laurel High School performance of “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” on Nov. 17. The dinner will start at 6 p.m. and the musical begins at 7 p.m. Dinner will take place in the LHS depot followed by the musical in the auditorium.
Dinner will be catered by LHS ProStart students and feature a soup, bread, dessert and a beverage.
Prices are $5 for students and $7 for adults. Children under five are free.
