Enjoy breakfast with Blue Creek firefighters Oct. 8

After a busy wildland fire season this summer, Blue Creek Volunteer Fire Department firefighters invite the community to visit Sunday, Oct. 8, 8 a.m. to noon, to learn about fire prevention and enjoy a pancake breakfast of pancakes, eggs, bacon and coffee/juice and tour the station at 2504 Blue Creek Rd..
Entry for breakfast is $5. All proceeds go to Friends of Blue Creek Fire a 501(c)(3) organization that helps buy equipment and pay for training.
There is also a raffle tickets sale. Tickets are $20 per ticket with only 300 tickets available. The odds are good to win prizes of $1,000, $500 or $250 in cash.
