Domino’s Pizza update

As reported by the Outlook last week, Domino’s Pizza will be opening in the building being constructed next to Ricci’s at 720 1st Ave. Correspondence from Jessica Doyle, a Domino’s supervisor for the store, said the company hopes to open the restaurant by the end of October, although construction delays may push the opening into November.
“We have already hired and begun training a few employees but we are looking to hire at least 20-30 more.” Doyle wrote. In addition to hiring events, Domino’s representatives will be at other events to introduce their products to Laurel customers.
“We will be at the Laurel Fall Fest at the Front Porch on Sept. 23rd and are looking forward to introducing ourselves to the neighborhood,” Doyle wrote. “We will have a booth with games, prizes, and of course some samples. We will also have some applications there at the booth and will make time to speak with any applicants we can.” She added that Domino’s is excited to be a part of the business community and the company and staff plan to be involved with school and other events.
“We will keep you posted as we know more,” Doyle said. She suggested folks learn more online by visiting
