Christmas to Remember Sunday

This Sunday, Dec. 3, is Christmas to Remember. The Laurel Women in Business have been working on the details for many months in order to make this the best day-long event and parade yet. Activities begin at 10 a.m. and last until the Laurel Volunteer Fire Department firefighters put on a dazzling display of fireworks after the lighted parade to usher in the season.
The annual bazaar at Laurel Middle School begins at 10 a.m. and runs through 4 p.m., so everyone can purchase gifts from local merchants and crafters before the parade. There will also be children’s activities and entertainment at the middle school from 2:30-4 p.m.
Activities at The Crossings are from noon until 3 p.m. The Tour of Trees featuring beautifully decorated trees from local organizations grace the hallways and foyers. Everyone is encouraged to vote for their favorites. There is a Creche Festival in the chapel. Pictures with Santa will also be at The Crossings.
The main event—the Christmas to Remember lighted parade— and the arrival of Santa begins downtown at 5:15 p.m. with the fireworks show to follow.
