Notice is hereby given that the Laurel City Council will conduct a public hearing on Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at 6:30 p.m. in the Laurel Council Chambers, 115 W. First Street, Laurel, MT. The purpose of the public hearing is to review an application for a variance from Laurel Municipal Code 17.08.080 which states an alley is defined as secondary access. Chris and Faith Olson have requested a variance to use the alley as primary access to a lot located at 208 East 11th Street. East 11th Street has not been constructed adjacent to the northernmost portion of the parcel.  The Planning Board has recommended approval. The affected property is currently zoned R-7500. It is legally described as S09, T02 S, R24 E, C.O.S. 2039, PARCEL A1, CORR & AMND TR A & B (96) RES # R05-102 (06). 

A copy of the variance application is on file and available for public inspection in the Laurel City-County Planning Office, 115 W. First St. in Laurel.

Notice is hereby given that the regular close of voter registration for Laurel City General Election to be held on November 3, 2015 will be 5:00 p.m. on October 5, 2015.  All qualified registered electors of said Districts are entitled to vote at said election.

*NOTE: If you miss this regular registration deadline, you may still register for the election by showing up at the county election office up to and including on Election Day.
